Another thing all
Christians must understand is that,
When Jesus said, Psalms
19
The law
of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of
the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the
judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than
much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them
there is great reward.
He specifically chose these 6 words,
LAW OF THE LORD
THE COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD
TESTIMONY OF THE LORD
STATUTES OF THE LORD
THE FEAR OF THE LORD
THE JUDGEMENTS OF THE LORD
Because they are the PRECEPTS of the LORD.
Precepts are line upon line, one precept must follow another.
These follow each other. Jesus was not randomly choosing these words
because He wanted to confuse us, no, He wanted us to understand how He wants us
to love Him. In doing so, we will walk upright and find the place of Holiness.
Let us look closer. The foundation of God our Lord is Deuteronomy 6:4, the
doctrinal foundation for relationship with the Lord is Deuteronomy 6:5 in which
they can be interchangbly. Furthermore, Jesus did not chose these 6 words
randomly because He wanted it to look creative or pretty, He chose these 6
words because they are precept upon precept and they cover the whole
meaningfulness for Deuteronomy 6:4 and 6:5 and while you are there, read the
entire Deuteronomy for the whole context. I pray your soul shall find strength,
amen. How are these words, precept upon precept, before we look into that, lets
go over to Psalms 19: LAW OF THE LORD
THE COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD
TESTIMONY OF THE LORD
STATUTES OF THE LORD
THE FEAR OF THE LORD
THE JUDGEMENTS OF THE LORD
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned:
and in keeping of them there is great reward.
6 THINGS YOU MUST UNDERSTAND:
THESE 6 THINGS HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON, 7 TIMES,
1. THEY ALL ARE THE WORD OF GOD
2. THEY ALL ARE MORE TO BE DESIRED THAN FINE GOLD
3. THEY ALL CARRY WEIGHT, FOR by them is thy servant warned:
4. THEY ALL CARRY A REWARD, For in keeping of them there is great
reward.
5. GOD SPECIFICALLY SELECTED THESE 6 WORDS TO STAND OUT THAN
ANY OTHER PRECEPT IN THE BIBLE, IN THIS REGARD, ANY SERIOUS BELIEVER LEARNING
HOLINESS, WILL PASS THROUGH THESE TRUTHS
6. THEY ALL APPEAR IN PSALMS 119 THE MOST
7. THEY ALL HAVE TO DO WITH HOLINESS, SIDE NOTE:- PSALMS 119
IS A BOSSOM SCRIPTURE FOR ANYONE WHO DESIRE TO LEARN HOLINESS, PRAY FOR
UNDERSTANDING & ASK THE LORD TO OPEN UP YOUR UNDERSTANDING TO PSALMS 119,
ALSO PRAY FOR STRENGTH, BECAUSE AFFLICTIONS WILL FOLLOW TO ANY ONE SERIOUS FOR
THIS TRUTH.
LET US CONTINUE,
BELOVED, THERE IS A SPECIFIC REASON WHY GOD SPECIFICALLY SELECTED
THESE 6 WORDS TO STAND OUT THAN ANY OTHER PRECEPT IN THE BIBLE,
WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE PRECEPTS OF THE LORD THAT IS REQUIRED AND NECESSARY FOR
ANY TRUE BELIEVER WANTING TO LOVE GOD AND MAKE HEAVEN.
LET US LOOK AT DUETERONOMY 6: Versus 1, 2, 4, 5
6 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the
judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye
might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his
statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy
son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our
God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love
the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and
with all thy might.
WHAT DOES PSALMS 19 HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH DUETERONOMY 6?
THIS IS WHAT THE LORD JESUS WANTS US TO UNDERSTAND [AND IN
ALL THY GETTING, GET UNDERSTANDING]
Deuteronomy 6:1 reads:
The Commandments, the Statutes, and the Judgments, THEY ALL HAVE ONE
THING IN COMMON, THEY DEAL WITH LEGALITY, LEGAL, LAW, for they are the manner
of The Law of the Lord. In keeping
them, Deuteronomy 6:2 reads: thou mightest fear
the Lord thy God, this is the place of the Fear of the
Lord. Are you following? Let us continue. Now, the only precept that
is the same yet different from the rest, is Statutes. Testimonies follow Learning
God's Statutes. Psalms 119 reads: it is good for me that I have been afflicted,
that I might learn Thy statutes. Before you can learn Gods
statutes, you must learn affliction. In learning afflictions, you will find The
Testimonies of the Lord. NOTE: STATUTES AND AFFLICITONS
WALK HAND IN HAND AND AFFLICITONS AND TESTIMONIES WALK HAND IN HAND. Having
said all of that, it is wisdom to understand that the Precepts of the Lord in
Deuteronomy 6 is the same Precepts in Psalms 19.
THE LAW OF THE LORD
THE COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD
TESTIMONY OF THE LORD
STATUTES OF THE LORD
THE FEAR OF THE LORD
THE JUDGEMENTS OF THE LORD
and it is rather very important to note PSALMS 19 WITH THIS VERY
SAME PRECEPTS AND HOW THE LORD NOTED THAT IN PSALMS 19:11
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned:
and in keeping of them there is great reward.
UNDERSTAND BELOVED, THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTANDDUETERONOMY 6:4 &
5 & PSALMS 19:10 & 11 in a whole different light in view of YOU SHALL
LOVE THE LORD, THY GOD, WITH ALL THY HEART, WITH ALL THY SOUL, WITH ALL THY
MIGHT AND THE FOUNDATION OF THAT BEING THE KEY TO LIVING HOLY.
Gods grace to you.
