Sharing what Jesus did in our lives

As Christians, our daily lives calls us to be a witness for Jesus. One way we are called to witness is to share our faith of Jesus, that means sharing what Jesus did in our lives. When we do that, we will soon realize that many people are waiting on us to share our testimony. Many of those people are hungry for Jesus, some are hungry for something but they don’t know what it is, and I am eternally convinced that the testimony of Jesus in our lives is what will do it for many. For others, it will plant a seed in their hearts to the glory of God. This is what will happen when we share Jesus, and not share a church program. I express this because many times, we try to sell to people a church experience or church programs, but that is not being a witness of Jesus, RATHER, we should tell them about our testimony of what Jesus did for us and then that opens the door for them to hear about Jesus. As Christians, we have to be willing to plant the seed of faith and trust in the Lord that He will send someone else to plant Jesus OR if God sends/uses you to do both, then even better - it's all a part of God’s glorious plan.

I am reminded of the woman at the well after she met Jesus, she ran to the city and the first thing she said was “come see a man that told me everything I ever did.

She didn’t tell people who this Man was, she first started to tell people about what this Man did for her. She then introduced Christ in form of a question "is this not the Christ?"

see John 4:29-43

And so the focus should always be what Jesus did for you and who is Jesus.

Now if the Lord leads you to share anything else, again and you are certain the Lord sent you to do so, then dear one, obedience is always better than sacrifice.
