For anyone who may not be knowledgeable to the term Iniquity. Iniquity is when you decide to live your own life, on the basis of doing your
own thing, being your own god, being lord over your own life and (that may attimes include making your decisions for the sake of carnality without seeking Gods counsel and direction) this is when you choose to not make God ruler over your moments, mind
or life, and understand this, that we will be judged on the basis of iniquity and if we
don't understand what INIQUITY is, and how great the matter is, then
our heart can deceive us in many small and large matters. Many times the large matters is common sense to us but very few know that iniquity can creep into our small matters(the moment).
God wants us to give Him our moments , this will eventually allow you to give God your whole being and life.
We do not want God to say to us on that day:
Depart from Me, you who work iniquity. Matthew 7:23
IN OTHER WORDS, GOD SAID, You Lived Your Own Life, Did Your Own Thing and Did Not Make Me God Over Your Life. That is what everything boils down to.
Dearest It
is not just about committing sin or knowing what Gods law/commandments says and breaking them. It is
entirely about obeying God at anything He says even if it is not written word for word in His Holy Scriptures. This is why identifying and knowing Gods voice is very very important.
Understand, to be able to identify Gods voice starts by reading His word, getting familiar with His word, build up so that even if the Lord says a (hello or goodbye) tho it is not written word for word in the bible, you're able to know the voice of God. Because There will be times He will speak to you very normal in your day to day moments and you must be able to identify and know the voice of the Lord SOOOO that you can give Him your moments by obeying any command or instruction He says.
FOR AN EXAMPLE:
If when God said “yes do it now” and you say I'll do it but not now, tomorrow is more convenient,Even tho yes you will do it, but you are still doing your own thing, because you chose not to do it the time God said to do it, this is you being your own God. That is iniquity.
It is also when God said “yes do it now” and you say no, again, you are still doing your own thing, being your own God. That is sin & iniquity.
It is when we live our own life and did not make Him God/Lord over our moments and life. This is very serious. Gods grace to you. May God help us to live a life unto God so we can hear “well done.”
